Nothing exceeding ??? Coolest wood out there :D
But yeah you appreciate it most when you have it in your hands

Seems like there were a few pics of finished handles here, but I can't find them now.?????

There are several of the forum members have knives with this wood as handle material.
If anyone wants to post photos, they are welcome to do so.

This is one of my knives using Bog Oak that Aaron Wilburn made for me.

I have a piece but haven't done anything with it yet. Mario beat me to the punch putting it with some blue mammoth tooth, which is exactly what my plan was. Might have Mario repeat that performance.

This is one Mario made for me with Bog Oak and Amboyna.

I have 6 pieces (I think) and each one is so very drastically different, I couldn't see myself getting rid of them. I don't even want to cut them up. Well maybe one day I will figure out how to make a handle.

I guess I will play along too, here is my Mario also, with just a little bit of bog, my only piece, but I have some more on the way. I also really like the look of the shig westerns Maxim got with the bog oak handles, makes me want to rehandle my stock western.

Mario Gyutohiki 240 Bog Oak and Afzelia Xylay or however you spell it
