I'm kinda bummed about this, but I'm selling a few pieces that I really do love. The arrival of a new knife made me look at my collection, and realize that I need to shed a few pounds. Well, that and the fact that I just bought a new car, which makes me want money, just a tad more than beautiful sharpened steel.

First up is my Adam Marr Western 255mm Gyuto, with spalted maple handle. It was formerly on my site, here:

I, however, took it over and took it off my site's availability. The price for this beauty is $360, all in. For $405, I'll make a custom saya to go with it. There was one, but I ended up no being entirely happy with it, as it was a "trial", of sorts. I since cut it apart, and used the wood on another project.

The new saya will have my usual curvy sexiness, and a pin, with the colour combo seen here.

The next one, I'm not in any rush to sell, so it's priced well, but not tremendously cheaper than you can get it brand new, from some other vendors. It's my much loved ZKramer 240mm Chef Knife. For this, I'm asking $360, all in, with a saya. Here are a couple pics of it:

Also for sale is my Joseph Rodgers and Sons petty (I believe it's a 150), for $70, plus actual shipping. Timthebeaver, you have dibs. After that, it's available to anyone:

Lastly, for the knives, is a Murray Carter 240mm KU Gyuto, in very nice shape, with some fading/loss of the KU, but otherwise, in great shape! $400, all in. It's the one on top, seen here. Murray was particularly fond of this knife, and it feels great, in hand. Classic Carter....

Last item up for sale is, a Kent BK2 brush. Used twice, will be washed before shipping. This brush seems to be a bit of a shedder. You should be able to buy it and contact Kent for a replacement, so the price reflects that. Virtually new condition. Yours for $50, with shipping.

He uses carpenters steel, exclusively. At least that is all I have seen him use.

So tempting.

Everything but my baby (I have many babies) has sold, so I'm pulling the Kramer. Thanks for the support, and for savig me from selling a knife that I might have kicked myself over. They're all awesome, but I'm strangely attached to that one. :D

Working away at getting all of this finished, and shipped out (sorry, but as always, I'm slammed...). A little teaser update - Yoshikane SKD gyuto, Aritsugu A-Type, and a little Harner lovin'.

Here's a shocker for you guys - HHH 230mm AEB-L Gyuto, with double redwood handle!

230mm in length, 48mm at the heel. A thin grind, from Randy, and the handle is drop dead gorgeous.

This one, shipped for $545. At that place we don't mention, a lesser one sold for $675. This has been very lightly used, with only minor signs of wear...virtually brand new! Skip the wait and buy today!

Here's one I sold on my site and in a journey across continents and oceans, it came back to me. It's a Harner 90mm Stabber, made out of CTS-XHP steel. You can get a better write-up on my site, at: http://sharpandshinyshop.com/collections/found-a-home/products/butch-harner-90mm-3-5-parer-utility-1 It was $150, originally. In like new condition, it's yours for $120, plus actual shipping. It's a perfect knife for a quick garlic mince, or for an executive chef who kind of hung up his knives, and needs one for scoring meat, and quick prettying up of dishes. ALSO, awesome for home use.

If i didn't just grab the martell gyuto, i would be all over the HHH knife. Glws!

Man, that one has been haunting me for a while... The handle on that stabber is perfection, a nice little knife for sure.
You're letting go of some really cool stuff, Tom! Makes me wish I wasn't on a 'no spending period'...

Thanks, guys!

Harner Stabber - SPF

I'll drop the HHH to $530 shipped. I noticed some lateral scratches (faint, but there), most likely from the little cardboard sheath.
