    If you search yanabi knife. Yes that's you spell it there's a pretty cool knife with a custom handle that's pretty neat

    Dang, I am too slow again, the handle maker stole my idea I have had some of this veneer sitting here for almost 2 years but didn't get my act together. I could have won a price But mine would probably be a little less busy... Otherwise, nice knife, I like Watanabe yanabis

    I stumbled across this page last night, and remembered this thread. The Watanabe yanagi from this thread is featured on this page, the handles aren't really to my taste, but the craftsmanship looks pretty good, I think with a more classical brief, it could be a pretty cool handle. I like the abalone shell.
