Today, as a test, i started using the speech recognition on my computer to try to help me answer e-mails more quickly. Surprisingly, for the first time, it actually seems to be working pretty well. I've been able to speed up my answering of emails by quite a bit. It's pretty impressive. In fact, this entire message was typed by my voice recognition software. Anyone else try it? If so, what have your results and like?

I think the thing that I like best is that it allows me to multitask.

Are you using the Dragon natural speak? They have come a long way.

windows has had pretty good strides with their voice recognition software. tried it before. =D

Nuance is the leader in the field, available for Mac and PC, I did some research for my dad, and to get to 99% accuracy you need a good headset microphone. David Pogue from the NY Times dictates all his "missing manual" books, I'm sure he has an article somewhere with his setup.
