I am cleaning up a bunch of new wood that just came back from getting stabilized by K&G.

Only 50 or so left to clean up. Then I will start posting them in our web store.
 
OK......so nobody likes the wood in the first photo.

I like the bottom two on the right in the first picture, looks like buckeye burl :doublethumbsup:
 
Not as much fun seeing this now that the contest winnings have been used up. Hard to resist though. What wood is that in the second photo?
 
The wood in the 2nd photo is some of the maple burl that I got from the wood turner who had tossed the burl in the creek for a few years.
It is actually a bit darker than the group photo shows. It is some of the best looking maple burl I have seen.

Canadian man, you are correct. Those 2 blocks are buckeye.

Anton, for you I have some sappy pine boards with invisible figure. Makes really grippy handles because the sap acts like glue on your hands.
