1) Blazen 210mm SG-2 steel western deba. Purchased from another forum member and in great condition. A few surface scratches but no functional problems. It does NOT come with a saya or the original box. It has the older Blazen logo which has faded some. I'm going to end up getting a 240mm western deba so I'll sell this. I will also throw in a Tojiro DP 210mm gyuto which was used in a home kitchen. It was my girlfriend's for about six months, but my gf now owns my Sakai Yusuke 240 gyuto, and this was returned. The Tojiro has been sharpened only once. What a great deal for her.
Asking $215 for BOTH the Blazen deba and the Tojiro DP. I'll sell them together.
2) Sakai Ichimonji Kichikuni Blue #2 steel 180mm deba. This was purchased from Blueway. This is a quality deba which initially came with the Sakai traditional craft seal on the handle. The sticker indicates that only recognized craftsmen participated in making this knife. The list of these skilled craftsmen is here
Anyway, I didn't like the handle, and I had Jon from JKI rehandle it with ichii wood and a blonde horn ferrule. It's been used a few times, but the protective lacquer finish is still on it. It has never been sharpened. It comes with the original box, and I will also throw in a magnolia saya with pin.
Asking $150 shipped for the Sakai 180mm blue steel deba.
