One of the knife makers that I know was willing to share some of his stash with me.
These are some blocks that were old when he bought them 4 years ago.
So.....I think it is safe to say they are dry and ready to use.
Now I need to get them cleaned up and take some photos so I can post them in the store.

I know Randy H will be able to guess what they are, so no telling anyone Randy.

What are they? They look thin
That is because of the camera angle. Most are just under an inch thick, some thicker.

I will give a hint.
They come from a country just north of Nicaragua.
....and the wood smells spicy when you sand it.

Rosewood? I forget where, but I saw some awesome Honduran Rosewood recently.

I knew one of you would figure it out. Honduras Rosewood Burl.
They look a little better cleaned up. I will start adding the blocks to the store shortly.

Something came up and I have to leave work early today.
So I will be adding these blocks to the web store first thing tomorrow.

Only 10 blocks of the Rosewood Burl are left now.
Still some really nice ones to choose from.
