Thread: So a perverbial quickie!

    So a perverbial quickie!

I had a couple hours this afternoon to work on completing this one. So got the handle epoxied up, shaped, sanded, and finished. My girls were quite insistant on me staying out of the shop. "You just got home!" So of course they won! Love 'em!

So, a fillet knife. S35VN, @ HRC 61, handrubbed (in the sticks! Helps pass the evenings) Man I miss the power tools!

Stainless bolsters peened through. Stainless pins, and some of Marks outstanding stabilized Oregon maple burl. Thanks for bringing the quality Mark!

This would be a medium stiff flex. It can take a 90* bend, and come back to true.

Absolutely, amazingly beautiful. Makes my Leech Lake fillet knife look like .... mass produced cheap-labor .... stuff. (And it's a nice fillet knife)

Pierre's fillet knives have a grace that goes beyond craft.

Here you go. Crappy cell phone pics, but you get the idea.

That is absolutely beautiful Pierre. I don't use a filet knife but that makes me rethink it! Stunning work!

How much do these cost from you if you don't mind me asking?
