A pile of new stabilized wood

UPS just dropped off another big box of stuff from getting stabilized.
Can't tell from the photo but there are 50+ new blocks.
Buckeye, Redwood, Maple, Mango, Kauri and some Ebony.

I have other work I am supposed to be doing, but.......
When new stuff arrives I drop everything and start cleaning up the new stuff.
I will probably start with the buckeye.

This is how the wood looks when it comes back from getting stabilized.
You don't know for sure what you have until it gets cleaned up.

    Buckeye

    Redwood

    Mango

    Ancient Kauri

    Ebony & Bog Oak

I have cleaned up some of the blocks. They will go into the store tomorrow afternoon if all goes as planned.

The buckeye will be darker than they look in this group photo.

These ebony blocks were an experiment to see if they like getting stabilized. They turned out great.
