I went to Godiva's chocolate tasting event in the Meatpacking district last night. It was pretty neat listening the global executive chef of Godiva's explanation of the new product... Plus I got free truffles. :happymug:

The table had real chocolate in it... It was pretty intense.
For the instagramers. lol
I got the cake truffles, because cake.
It had birthday cake, pineapple hummingbird, cheesecake, red velvet cake, chocolate lava and lemon chiffon.
The birthday cake truffle. I was anticipating it to be sickeningly sweet and you know... It was, but it wasn't half as bad as I thought.
The lava cake truffle had liquor in it.
