Very nice! I love the close ups, it's work deserving of such display.

Screw you! Very very nice. What is the wood on each again?

The suji is black ash burl and the gyuto is ironwood. I left the choices for wood up to Hoss and couldn't be happier with what he came up with.

I helped make the suji. I held the water spray bottle to cool the blade down. LOL

They are both awesome but the black ash burl especially so. Also, I don't really like endcaps, or mokume ferrules, but they both looks great on yours. This Devin guy really seems to know what hes doing!

Salty likes to call his Nenohi the "diva", and I think these babies definitely fit in that category. They are so "bling"

Beautiful blades. Did Hoss make all of these in exchange for work on his website?

Yes sir, these were both given to me for building his website. Hoss really outdid himself with these two blades, they are truly pieces of art.

Two of the nicest knives ever made... nuff said.

why the **** to you put these up on ebay?

?????

Well a lot has changed since I originally made the deal with Hoss and so I must let these gems go. My loss will be someone's gain though... If anyone has any questions about either blade I would be happy to answer... they are both truly works of art.

Whoa! Wish I could join in the fight for one of these, just can't swing that kind of cash right now.

It appears so. We have a "no live auction link" policy but you probably didn't know this since we haven't posted on it yet. No foul, just housekeeping. :)

I actually wrote you a PM but failed to hit send. My apologies.

I would hope to get the benifit of the doubt before demands are made.:happy2:

Not like it is hard to find them on ebay without a direct link.

The point of not allowing live auction links as a rule is to keep people from dropping ebay sales links all of the time. This isn't bad in our community but some forums have a real problem with people posting their ebay sales every 5 sec. We simply opted to make the rule to keep them (that's live links - not ended links) out of here altogether.

On another list that I'm on active eBay auctions are not allowed so that members don't start bidding against each other!
