Knife ID

Picked up this old cleaver a while back, but don't really know anything about it. When I was browsing ebay last night and I stumbled on someone selling the same knife. Turns out he doesn't know who made it either but got me curious again. So here's a pic of the makers mark:


Hopefully someone here can help. It has a little "made in japan" stamp just under the kanji for what it's worth.
