Looking to move along this like new Itinomonn 240 western gyuto. I purchase it a few weeks ago from Maxim at JNS ( http://www.japanesenaturalstones.com/western-itinomonn-kasumi-240mm-gyuto/ ) and used very sparingly. It's been sharpened twice on 1 & 5k synthetic stones with no alteration to the original geometry. Theres is 1 very light scratch on the face of the blade that you cant really see except under certain light at certain angles, but the buyer should know what to expect. Other than that (which would polish out in a minute w/ some wet/dry) it really is just as it came out of the box. The grind on this knife is quite good, with a great balance of convexity and thinness behind the edge. Flies through potatoes and onions with a breeze, and has a nicely rounded spine and eased choil. This example has a Cocobolo handle that is perfectly finished and contoured to give a great feel in the hand and set up for a nice pinch grip. A very well made knife that performs as good as it looks, but just not quite the "perfect" one for me.
I'm asking $300 including Paypal fees and priority shipping in Conus.

Thanks for looking, feel free to ask any questions.

I'm very interested, but also very broke!
I want to try this thing out so bad. It's probably the coolest looking handle out of the bunch as well.
I'm surprised this one is still around!

I'm broke too. And with an ealy Damascus parer on my mind and and ealy gyuto on the way and a sharpening class that I'm trying to convince my wife of I'll be in big trouble. I want to try it out badly and that handle is sick. Good luck with the sale. Don't know why it's still here

I feel your pain guys. I'd love to keep this one, but the money is better used elsewhere at the moment, unfortunately.
If either of you find a wad of cash, you know who to call...

I just picked up the Nashiji version, due to Maksim's sale, which I'm guessing is the reason this hasn't sold yet. Give it a bit, I bet it'll get scooped up in a few days.

If I were in the market I do believe this would be near the top of the list to try.

Ahhhh, I didn't realize Maxim was running a sale, it all makes sense now.
Fortunately, this one is now SPF.
Thanks for all the interest guys.
