Hi,

I'm shopping around for usubas, and the blue #2 of that maker at bluewayjapan looks interesting. Has anyone tried their single bevels?
I notice they have the fancy certified craftsmen sticker; that seems to be a big deal according to the description of the Gesshin Hide line at JKI.

picked up a white #2 deba bc of the great price for a lefty. i am very satisfied with the knife for the price. its no showpiece, just a solid working knife.

I picked up one of their 300mm yanagibas in Blue #2 from a KKF member and love it. I'm by no means a single bevel expert, but the blade is straight, the shindig line is crisp, and the blade road is even.

LOL Does KKF now have autocorrect? There's no way that I wrote shindig line instead of shinogi line.

EDIT: Yes, you have to type "shinogi" twice or it will be rendered as shindig. Yay?
