I was just finishing up an order for a new knife (actually a particular style/ finish that I've been waiting a few years for) and Jason shared some clips from an upcoming documentary on Murray that was done by some Oregon film makers.
The one about his early experience in Japan is pretty cool and some of the details where new to me, but they all seem to add just a bit more insight into the man and his philosophies. I thought my fellow knuts might enjoy...

I couldn't agree more with his "Pursuing Your Passion" ideas.

Thanks for posting these vids Justin.

I don't like clean shaven Murray, he needs his beard back...

Very motivating and inspirational clips nonetheless

Whoa! Awesome video!

Definitely need AC in my next shop. Gonna make some popcorn and watch the movie tonight. Or get pizza.

Yeah, pretty inspirational in a way that's totally genuine and not at all preachy. Makes me think I should be making knives...

me too..... but I'll sit on it before I plunge down any money for classes.... I love the idea though!

I'll say it time and time again, I only have one Murray Carter knife but that one knife is one of the best damn cutters I own!
