    guess the knife

    several folks have asked about the new cabinet- but can you guess the knives? some are easy, others no so much.... and a preview of the cabinet: more to come - the two thinner knife bars (shown at the right) will sit horizontally on the right side to catch the smaller blades (<210mm or so). pics to follow as this develops

    These are just the test knives to make sure the magnets are strong enough- I really wouldn't want to accidentally drop one of my Rachel Ray limited edition blades

    Oh and you got most of em Huw- the honyaki sujihiki is a gesshin ittetsu, the bottom gyuto is a konosuke in white #1

    I like how tall that suji appears to be, it would be a nice multi-purpose knife.
