This is only a few months old, and very lightly used (home cook, and I only use end grain boards). It cut okay at first, but then I had it professionally thinned, and now it cuts really well. Thought it would be a good back up knife, but I just don't use it very much.

Comes with saya and original box.

Who thinned it? Was it thinned symmetrically? And how far up the blade was it ground?
 
For what it's worth, I've heard nothing but great things from 98% of people who have actually used Tim's work.
