Brand new, never used, from Devin's latest run of ITK knives. Nominally a 240, it measures 251 mm on the edge.

It's a length issue. The new 240 ITKs are almost as long as the older 270s. (251mm vs 259mm), while the older 240s are 227mm. I wanted the shorter blade.

for what it's worth, mine (from the new batch) measures 247mm. and it's a keeper!!!

Mines a solid 250mm AND 49\50mm tall. This is the largest prep knife I have and initially though it was too long. But I've grown to like it. Cuts like a mofo. No wedging even if cutting celery crosswise. Thee is magic in the profile for sure.

I can't wait till mine comes back
