my friend bought Tojiro knife from Japan at Ebay. Knife looks very good, material looks well, but I found a small blemish between handle and bolster.

Its possible repair it? Rub up wit some abrasive paste or something similar?
Also, handle is not clear and think, its not polished from factory.
