Hi all,
have been lurking as a guest for a while looking at all the gorgeous blades etc on here and learning heaps while I'm at it. I live in Adelaide, Australia which is a sleepy town that's either freaking hot or freaking cold (and not much in between), famous for churches and serial killers! :)

I love cooking and have been using mainly a cheap Analon set which I was putting together before I found out what good knives are :D Have just ordered my first gyuto which I should receive today (Sakai Takayuki 240mm) - really looking forward to it.

Anyways, in preparation for my new knife, I've been honing my sharpening skills and just finished my first handiwork project - a sink bridge - which I've posted in the handiworks sub-forum. Would love to hear your thoughts, criticisms and comments. Link: Sink bridge

Cheers
Adrian

Cheers all - looks like a nice place around here. Think I'll stay a while... :)
