Does anyone have opinions on what sized Debas are the most versatile and practical. I'm leaning towards the shorter end 180mm...
 
I hope Jon chimes in, but when I had asked him about this same question he told me 180mm Deba, 270mm Yanagi. For the deba, 165 is good, but will be lacking on some larger fish, while the 210 can begin to be too big and clumsy for smaller fish. Of course, to each their own.

What size fish are you going to use it for?
 
For home use, I have found that 165mm deba and one longer mioroshi at 195-210 suffice for my need.
