Thread: Honu Mana Wa Handles gallery

  1. #21
    Large gyuto handle. Desert ironwood with velvet tamarind ferrule and end cap and blue bakelite spacers. I used powdered turquoise to fill the cracks in the velvet tamarind and for the Honu inlay on the end cap. This was my first attempt at inlaying my logo on the end cap, later ones came out better.

    Measurements:

    Height @end cap 28mm
    @front of ferrule 26mm

    Width @end cap 24.5mm
    @front spacer 22mm
    @front of ferrule 17mm

    Length 144mm

    That last one is really awesome!

    And because your logo turtles carry a coffee bean on their back I would unofficially call your handles Coffee Turtles
