Does anyone have any tips for correcting a wavy blade road on Usuba? I tried focusing on the high spots and got it back close to true but I couldn't seem to get that clean, straight shinogi line back. I sent it to Murray Carter and he fixed it. I just bought a custom Takobiki and want to be prepared if the same problem happens again. Obviously I need to focus on removing metal perfectly evenly along the blade road. I'm just hoping that there is a simple way to clean up a shinogi line that I don't know about...

I'm not sure if you've seen this video before but Takeshi makes a couple of useful pointers in his vid. He tries his best to show these vids in English so you might need to perk your ears a little.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NtaC8-aSQE The Usuba is used for demonstration in the middle of the video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pg7hpa75tuA The latter video is more of technical review on how to sharpen the single bevels.

Nevertheless, let us know :)
