I finally lucked out by being on the board at the right time. I plan on putting these to good use so expect to see pictures in a couple of months. Maybe it's karma because Mike has my shig but will be returning it without a new handle, but with some beautiful wood.

If anyone wants to sell a piece of that ironwood, I could really really use it....
