I just posted some sets of pre-cut scales in our web store. These were blocks that were cut in half to check the dye penetration.
If you need more than this any block in our store can be cut into scales. Just make a note during check out.

Hi Mark,
I like your curly Maples but can it be more natural. I'm looking for a white wood handle like birdseye maple. For a Japanese guyto.
Another fast question? Is it possible to have the maple stabilized but still retain its white color.

There are some curly blocks in the web store that were left natural.
The maple usually takes on a slight amber hue when stabilized. Here is an example. If you click on the photo it takes you to where the stabilized maple blocks are located in the store.
