We had the chance to visit Spain last summer and one of the recommended restaurants in Barcelona was a small mom and pop Italian place where we experienced the best Lasagna we have ever had. It was tall layers of pasta with a strong base of tomato goodness, basil and Italian sausage (simple and elegant). We have been trying to recreate the recipe (in particular the sauce) but never seem to quite get there. The name of the restaurant was La Capricciosa.
Does anyone have recipe suggestions to get us close to the flavor we are looking for?
Many thanks.
