I absolutely love the Bog Oak I get from the Ukraine.
Wasn't sure if I could get another batch but a big heavy box showed up today.
After unpacking I labeled each block with the age so I wouldn't get things mixed up.
100 blocks and not a single flawed one. These are from 5 different logs of different ages ranging from 2840 years old to 5460 years old. A good mix of coloring ranging from almost silver to black.

Now I need to send a bunch in to get stabilized.
If anyone thinks I should post some unstabilized pieces in the store, let me know and I will.

Opened the box and it looked like one of those seized drug shipments like you see on tv.

Seperated the blocks by age and labeled them.

My BO is only 38 years old, but it will take the Pepsi Challenge with all this Ukrainian stuff!
The wife says my BO smells like roses.................
.............kind of like Sex Panther by Odeon.
Made with bits of real panther.......

Sorry Mark. I just can't help myself!

On the serious tip though...

So cool to have an actual date on something.............Bog Oak is such a killer handle material.
"Bog Oak-the new black"

I'm getting me some of that old stuff for sure. Gary

Knerd,
Your wife is being nice to you. Either that or they grow some stinky roses in NC.
Just teasing you.
