    F/S Murray Carter 5.8 sun SFGZ RH funayuki

    White steel core clad in stainless.

    Rehandled in cottonwood burl by Butch Harner with two mosiac pins.

    I've thinned the blade road and created a kasumi finish with a King 800 per Dave Martell's suggestion.

    The blade measures 5.8 sun (176 mm on the edge), and 39 mm tall at the heel.

    $295 includes insured shipping to a US address and PayPal fees.

    Did you use this for fish and/or fowl PT? Could it be used like a usuba (ie rotational cutting and delicate vegetable or is it too thick for cutting vegetables? I just don't understand funayukis.

    He indeed was, and he was very tempted, just wanted something a tiny bit taller ... but was VERY luck and found it
