White steel core clad in stainless.

Rehandled in cottonwood burl by Butch Harner with two mosiac pins.

I've thinned the blade road and created a kasumi finish with a King 800 per Dave Martell's suggestion.

The blade measures 5.8 sun (176 mm on the edge), and 39 mm tall at the heel.

$295 includes insured shipping to a US address and PayPal fees.

Did you use this for fish and/or fowl PT? Could it be used like a usuba (ie rotational cutting and delicate vegetable or is it too thick for cutting vegetables? I just don't understand funayukis.

Wasn't Matus looking for something like this?

He indeed was, and he was very tempted, just wanted something a tiny bit taller ... but was VERY luck and found it :)

I still love the way this one looks. Someone is going to be very, very happy.
