All of the Hawaiian Silky Oak Blocks in our web store are ON SALE now through the 31st.
Silky Oak is not a true oak but an ornamental tree that was brought to Hawaii from Australia. The wood shows bold flecks similar to Sycamore against a lustrous background. This is very cool wood but difficult to tell what it is like from the photos. So I made a short video.

Unless I find a better source this will be the last of the Hawaiian Silky Oak.
These blocks were all professionally stabilized by Knife and Gun Finishing Supply in Arizona (K&G)
This link will take you to the Silky Oak Blocks that are on sale.
