Could anyone help me figure out where this plane blade is from? It was my fathers. Body is red oak.

Hi Nerologic,
no problem. Sorry I was poking around online (Japanese google sometimes has more), but I couldn't find anything. It may a really old or hidden company that doesn't have a website.
 
Thanks for looking, Mari! I'm looking forward to laying this guy to some wood after I get it adjusted and sharpened. It's been unused on a shelf in my father's shop since before the internet existed, haha. Unfortunately he has passed on, so I cannot ask him about it. It was with some very nice japanese woodworking saws as well. If only my skills deserved such tools.
