There's new inventory in my store at www.dreamburls.com. I've added pieces of stabilized Curly Maple, Curly Anigre and Wenge. You'll also find
new blocks of natural hardwoods including Snakewood and Red Mallee.
I'm excited about a batch of Quilted Maple that I'm having stabilized and dyed at K&G. I've chosen a number of different dye colors including some
double dye combinations. I hope to have them in the store sometime this month.
I'll also be cutting up a slab of Hopea "Stone" burl this week. Hopea is one of the hardest woods out there. Emanating from S. E. Asia, this is one
of the densest species from that region. This particular burl material has a very nice orange color with contrasting darker streaks of black and dark
browns. The super-fine, closed grain allow for an incredibly high natural polish.
Have a great and safe Fourth of July.
