Anyone uses this medium stone for sharpening? I don't think I ever hear it mentioned here before. It is a really nice medium stone - nice amount of slurry, resist dishing and good feedback.
I also realized why Atoma 400 cannot be used as a coarse stone ... it wears out after 7 to 8 sharpening sessions. Only the corners are 400 grit ... the rest of the plate are more like 800 grit. :beatinghead:
I am considering JS 300 and Beston 500 as options now.
