Newbie here.

Just ordered a stone sharpening set from This Site Not Allowed Here.com and also ordered a strop block.

I have no idea what rouge or compound to buy (or where to get it) for the strop.

Any help here on the best brands and sources?

Thanks.

Fr. Jeff

You can use the strop as is. No need for any compound.
If you want any, you can find a diamond spray and proly other compounds at the same site you got your other items.

Also I heard good things about this place.

they sell diamond and CBN

I would check amazon as well. They carry tons of things if you are in US.

Are the solutions from USP in water, alcohol, or some other liquid?

If you going to use it to load strops, water is the way to go.
