Thanks to forum member who recommended the Beston 500 and Suehiro Rika 5000.

The stones came through the mail a few days ago and I have used them in one or two sharpening sessions. The Beston 500 feels relatively smooth for a coarse stone and with great feedback. The size, though, is smallest among all my stones but it resists dishing very well like many have already said.

The Suehiro Rika 5000 is probably the "pre-polisher" that I have been looking for. My previous 6,000 grit stone is too soft. This is hard enough, good feedback but muddy which I like.

For lapping stone though, I prefer the Atoma 400 as the lapping stone, not the Atoma 140.
