    Are this Stainless Clad Kurouchi finished; is not it quite redundant?
    Also the parring knife looks funny

    Takeda has been doing a stainless clad KU for well over a year now to much success.
    I happen to like the looks of both these knives.

    KU is not a stain resistant material. Let's try and keep this thread a showcase of Tosho products though.

    I probably should of used the term reactivity instead of stain resistance.

    I wouldn't call it funny , the handles don't shrink in proportion with the blade , you still need a handle that fits your hand , I prefer larger handles on pairing knives too
