    Custom Damascus Sujihiki 288mm.

Hello, Im fairly new to the forum and would like to reintroduce myself, My name is Randy Haas, I am a custom knife maker from Michigan. My oldest son Randy Jr. and I work together to make the knives. Randy Jr. forges damascus sttel and I make the steel into knives. Its my passion and I really enjoy creating beautiful functional tools! We make a wide range of knives from kitchen knives to folders.

This is my version of a Sujihiki. And may very well be the finest kitchen knife I have made to date!
Handles are Corian and the bolsters are mosaic damascus. With brass and copper mosaic pins and full thorn and vine filework.
The blade is 288mm long Overall length its 407 mm. At the heel its 45mm high. Blade thickness at the spine is 3.05mm tapering to the tip.
    Blade is 1095 and 15n20 RC 59/60

Thanks for looking, comments and critiques are always welcomed.

The bolster and tang are very, very cool. The mosaic pin layout is a nice change of pace from the normal line of 2-3. All-in-all, a very striking knife!
