I just finished adding the rest of the figured Claro Walnut to our store. Now there are several dozen blocks to choose from.
Most of these blocks have been cut oversized so you can use them for large handle knives or possibly get 2 matching handles from some of the blocks.
These blocks were professionally stabilized by K&G. But they are priced close to what you would pay for non stabilized wood. Average price is about $40 for an oversized stabilized block. Some of the fancier pieces are priced at $45 and $50.
I always have difficulty photographing Walnut but this should give you an idea what they are like.
