I guess I'll derail my own thread and say yes, I love pork and medium rare beef when it comes to patina :knife:
 
any protein works pretty cool IMO, I have a monosteel white #2 knife, and I am a pro, when I cut chicken fresh out of the oven, the patina is a nice bluish purplish color from the juices
 
Yeah, Mark is the right person for magically converting a pile of money into a smaller pile of wood. Ok, into a smaller pile of beautiful wood :)
