I'm after a small whack of vintage chef knives with nice steel, but crap handles/messed up profiles/a case of the uglies. If possible, I'm looking for ten pieces, all hopefully 10", or there abouts.
For price, I need to keep this way down, which is part of the reason I'm looking for something that is in an unusable state, but with potential - so, let's say $15 apiece, max. I would also be willing to take on a trade, such as I redo (reprofile, regrind, rehandle, and redress) an ODC knife for you. So, send 11, and get one back, but it'll be like new, with the soul of an old-timer, and a few scars to show its character.
