    I would say the biggest problem with those videos is that they are a cumulative run time of over an hour. The biggest problem with sharpening videos and instructionals is that they are either so reductive that they are leaving people clueless, or they are so long winded and ritualistic/macho that people are left feeling like it is beyond their ken, and certainly has nothing to do with cooking.

    Ok here's one. I know, it's not a kitchen knife, so I'm cheating. But there is some crazy moments in this one. It's long, I didn't watch it all.

    Wow, those two guys are of a special caliber. I love the part when they explain why they keep the stone wet and the third guy mentions lubrication but the "expert" doing the sharpening says that it has absolutely nothing to do with lubrication...LOL.

    When i saw that in the movie I thought to myself: "If that knife was really sharp you wouldnt have that fingernail anymore!! "
