These are bookmatched sets of untreated wood that were cut to be used for sayas, scabbards or maybe some other woodworking project. These are bookmatched which means it was a single piece of wood that was split and when you open the pair like a book you see 2 matching, mirror image pieces. This is dry wood that is ready to use. I drum sanded these to be flat and even thickness at 36 grit and sprayed them with a light coat of lacquer for a bit of added protection until you begin your project. The coarse sanding at 36 grit makes it difficult to see the grain and figure in these sets, so you will be in for a pleasant surprise when you fine sand and finish this wood.

I added a few sets of stabilized handle scales to the store as well.

Just the 3 walnut sets left now of the large sets.
Thank You.

There is a batch of stabilized wood arriving tomorrow.
After I get them all cleaned up and posted in the store, I will cut some more of these big sets.

EDIT: just 1 walnut set left. Hard to tell from the photo but it has some pretty good curly figure.
