I'm starting this thread just to show some before and after sharpening pics. It's amazing to see the condition of some knives.

This one wasn't horrible, from what I've already seen, but it'll be fun seeing the reaction of the person when they get it back.

Nice repair, what stones did you use for the repair? How long did it take?

Thanks! I used a 150 grit diamond stone to repair the chip, and set a new bevel. Next, I took it to an 800 grit diamond ceramic stone I got from Jon (this stone is super bad), and finished it off on a 6,000 grit diamond from Jon as well. Took me about 30 minutes, as I've been getting a lot of practice in the last few weeks with customers bringing me abused knives.
