The second post reminds me of a time back in elementary school when it was "cool" to hollow out a colored marker and put your wooden HB pencil inside. I remember after making some headway hollowing out the inside working on the tip. I was gripping the marker in one hand and a pencil in the other tip-to-tip trying to pop out the marker tip. Well the pencil slipped and stabbed myself in the hand, blood everywhere in the middle of class. Nothing like that pic though as it hit the bone more or less perpendicularly. I can still see some faint grey/black 20+ years later at that spot.
