picked this up a few months ago, cleaned rust and pitting, measures 2 1/4" tall at the heel.

Continue the restoration, with a new handle of course, or......turn it into a slicer??

Question about the spec's because I don't know how big it was originally.

Thanks...........Jimbo

You can't link pictures directly from gmail, gotta have them hosted somewhere like google drive/photos, or imgur, tinypic, ect

okay, well kiss my bottom round, anyone teach and old dog some new tricks?? I'm stumped

Jim, you'll need to upload the photos to a hosting site like photobucket. After that, copy the IMG code and paste when prompted by the attach photo function on the thread.

Looks like a good Sab to me. Should work out fine as a chef knife, no need to turn it into a slicer.

IRT posting images. On this forum (unlike many) the preview button actually works as it's supposed to. What you see is what you get. If you don't see your image w preview, no one else will either.

And that's a good looking image.
