They look like a good option for anyone who wants an R2/SG2 western with a damascus finish. The mirror polished is reminiscent of the Miyabi birchwood.

Koki's honesty and explanations regarding the details of his products keeps me returning as a customer.
 
The polished version is different from the regular version it seems. For yo R2 damascus, the pricing seems very good.
 
The page layout is not the best, but after reading through it, yes there is significant difference between the two versions:
1) handle - micarta vs pakkawood, also 3 vs 2 rivets
2) forged vs stamped construction, similar to the difference between Takamura R2 and Takamura HSPS (formerly Blazen)
3) regular vs mirror polish.
