New Tanaka R2 240 Wa Gyuto w custom Stefen Keller Handle

Up for sale is a brand new unused Tanaka R2 240 wa gyuto w custom Stefan Keller handle made of rosewood burl with koa ferrule and translucent artificial tortoise spacer. The photos do not do this one justice. As usual Stefan's work on the handle is impeccable and it really needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Hate to see this go and always hate selling a knife with one of Stefan's handles on it. Measures 243 on edge and 53 tall at the heel. Asking $550 shipped conus including paypal fees.

Man, the wa R2 aren't very common are they? On top of that with one with a Stefan handle...lol...I would be all over it if I didn't just make another purchase I've been saving up for...

Yes, this is a very classy combo. The grain in the handle really suits the damascus R2 blade nicely. All in I have over $680 in this knife.

Price drop to $520 - For a brand new knife....Blade is new and cost $475 so you are getting a brand new installed Stefan handle for $45. Hard to beat that.

If it wasn't for the crappy exchange rate I'd have bought this.
