I'm following along just to see the next episode. Staying tuned.

Party, there's only two pictures, and you skipped a bunch of steps. Let's see that hammer working.

A couple more pics for Devin :tease:

The blade has been annealed and now needs to get the highs ground off (by hand). Surface grinder for Christmas, please.

looks good. Put that in the top dresser drawer for safe keeping and get up in the middle of the night to make sure it's still there.

Get a cup stone for the hand grinder and it will make things easier.

I try to keep it tidy although I think I just happened to get the most organized part of the shop.
For the handle I'm using a beautiful rosewood burl I picked up from you.

Blade: 52100/15N20 damascus
242mm x 56mm
Handle: Carbon Fiber & Rosewood Burl from Mr. Mark
Weight: 222g
If you varmints have any questions let me know.

Extraordinary craftsmanship, artful (do those hammered ridges in the red hot pic have a name?) and even better is the photography.

Thanks for the compliments - I put alot of hours and lots of love into my knives and hopefully it shows.

This varmint has a question: price?

A stunning piece of artistry . . . pretty sure that one's gonna be beyond my means, but I gotta ask.

Thank you sir!
Price: $1350 + shipping

Great looking knife Ian!
I am very fond of your damascus patterns as well.
Good, clean, crisp patterns.
