da_bsg - Looks like a nice, uniform job. However, looks like you need something (slurry, maybe nat slurry) to bring out contrast. Polish style, I think, is pretty much a taste issue though.

MrOli - you sure the photos are correct?
 
Indeed they are, the edge is picking all sorts...need to take better pics!
 
Great work, guys. What methods are you using to get your polish?
 
I use sand paper:
#150 - #400 - #600 - #800 - #1000 - #2000

It is polish finish, not yet mirror finish.
 
Looks nice, i prefer the matt finish myself. But, dam how long did that take?
 
I'm a big fan of jnat mountain and sky finishes myself but it's an interesting take on the visuals of a knife!
