Hello everyone!
I am a cooking enthusiast and have always loved cooking with nice knives. Unfortunately I have 0 really nice knives. Initially I was looking at Global and Shun but am fully aware there are much nicer knives for a much lower price. I think the idea I currently have is to get a good chef knife, a bread knife, maybe a paring knife.. I do not know the Japanese terms for these knives yet so please be patient! I noticed this list and it seems like more knives than I would need but using the wrong knife for the task might be a bad mistake.. I absolutely need a good cutting board and I plan to practice sharpening with a couple cheaper Henckels I own. A decent steak knife set would be nice to have too.. All advice appreciated!
